Contributor & Submission Policy

Originality and Accuracy

By submitting material, contributors confirm that:

• The submission is original or properly licensed, and they have the authority to submit it.
• To the best of their knowledge, it contains no false or misleading information.
• Quotations and factual claims are represented accurately, and sources are credited appropriately.
• The submission does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights.
• The submission is not defamatory, unlawful, plagiarized, or created through deceptive means.

Previously published material must be disclosed when submitted.

Photographs, Logos, and Creative Materials

Contributors must have permission to submit every photograph, logo, illustration, recording, or other creative work included with their materials.

The person submitting photographs is responsible for obtaining any necessary permission from the photographer, copyright owner, and identifiable people shown. Photographs of minors require authorization from a parent or legal guardian.

Please provide photo credit information whenever available.

Editing and Headlines

VisionForward Magazine may edit submissions for clarity, accuracy, grammar, style, length, formatting, legal concerns, and consistency with the magazine’s mission.

The editorial team may create or revise headlines, captions, pull quotes, layouts, photographs, and promotional descriptions. When practical, contributors may be contacted about substantial changes.

Final decisions about headlines, layouts, placement, and publication rest with VisionForward Magazine.

Publication Rights

Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, contributors retain the copyright to their original work.

By submitting material and approving it for publication, contributors grant VisionForward Magazine and Allen Studios Holdings, LLC a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to edit, publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, display, and promote that material in print, digital editions, on websites, in email communications, on social media, in promotional materials, and on related platforms.

This permission includes use of the contributor’s name, approved biography, photograph, article title, excerpts, and submitted materials to promote the published feature and VisionForward Magazine.

Compensation

Compensation will be provided only when confirmed in a written agreement before publication. Submitting or publishing material alone does not create an obligation to pay a contributor, interviewee, photographer, organization, or representative.

Interviews and Approval

Interview participants may request verification of names, titles, dates, or direct quotations. Unless agreed to in writing beforehand, participants are not automatically entitled to approve the complete article, headline, layout, photographs, editorial commentary, or publication date.

Disclosure of Relationships

Contributors must disclose any financial, personal, professional, ministry, political, or business relationship that could reasonably affect their coverage of a subject.

When a conflict of interest exists, VisionForward Magazine may decline the submission or include an appropriate disclosure.

Artificial Intelligence Disclosure

Contributors must disclose substantial use of generative artificial intelligence to create submitted writing, artwork, photographs, audio, or other content.

Submissions that include fabricated quotations, invented sources, manipulated documentary photographs, or undisclosed AI-generated reporting may be rejected or removed.

Publication Schedule

Deadlines support the production process and may change. Acceptance of a submission does not guarantee publication in a particular issue.

VisionForward Magazine is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete information, late materials, production changes, technical issues, emergencies, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Removal Requests

Published content becomes part of the magazine’s historical record. Removal requests will be considered individually but are not automatically granted.

VisionForward Magazine may correct, update, restrict, archive, or remove content when it determines that doing so is appropriate.

How to Submit

All submissions must follow the current instructions posted on the VisionForward Magazine website. Incomplete submissions may not be considered.
