Editorial Policies

Honoring Legacy. Reclaiming Purpose. Moving Forward.

Our editorial work is guided by accuracy, fairness, respect, integrity, and a commitment to honoring legacy while making room for new voices.

VisionForward Magazine is a faith-centered publication celebrating the people, stories, ideas, and movements shaping music, arts, culture, business, media, ministry, and community life.

Editorial Mission

We publish work that informs, inspires, challenges, and connects our readers. Our coverage reflects the experiences and contributions of established leaders, emerging visionaries, creatives, entrepreneurs, ministry leaders, community advocates, and everyday people making a difference.

Our faith-centered perspective informs our work while allowing room for thoughtful discussion and a range of experiences.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are made by the magazine’s editorial team. Advertising, sponsorships, partnerships, and other business relationships do not guarantee editorial coverage or influence our conclusions.

Paid advertisements and sponsored content will be identified as such. Editorial coverage is not for sale.

Accuracy and Fairness

We aim to verify names, dates, quotations, titles, statistics, and other factual details before publication. When an article includes criticism or serious allegations about a person or organization, we make reasonable efforts to seek a response before publication.

Articles may reflect a writer’s perspective. Opinion and commentary will be presented in a way that helps readers distinguish them from reported coverage.

Corrections and Updates

If you believe a published article contains a factual error, contact us through the website contact page. Please identify the article and provide the correction and any supporting information.

We review correction requests and update content when warranted. Significant corrections will be clearly noted. We may also update articles to add relevant information or clarify details.

Submissions

VisionForward Magazine welcomes relevant pitches and submissions. Sending material does not guarantee publication. Our editors consider each submission for relevance, accuracy, originality, tone, and fit with the magazine’s mission and editorial needs.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, contributors are responsible for the originality and accuracy of their work. Submissions must not infringe another person’s copyright, privacy, or other rights.

We may edit accepted submissions for length, clarity, grammar, style, and consistency. We will seek the contributor’s input when a proposed edit would materially change the meaning of their work. Compensation, if any, must be agreed upon in writing before publication.

Sources, Quotes, and Images

Quotes must be accurate and presented in context. We do not knowingly publish fabricated quotations, misleading images, or material represented as fact without a reasonable basis.

Contributors must have permission to submit photographs, artwork, and other materials they do not own. Images may be cropped or adjusted for layout, but edits should not misrepresent the people or events depicted.

For stories involving minors or sensitive personal information, we may require consent from a parent or legal guardian and may withhold identifying details when appropriate.

Conflicts of Interest

Writers, editors, and contributors should disclose personal, financial, professional, or organizational relationships that could reasonably affect how readers view their work. The magazine may add a disclosure, assign another contributor, or decline the submission.

Use of Artificial Intelligence

Writers must disclose material use of generative AI in preparing an article, image, or other submission. AI tools may assist with limited tasks, but contributors remain responsible for the work’s accuracy, originality, rights, and integrity.

We do not knowingly publish AI-generated quotations, sources, or factual claims presented as real. The magazine may request clarification or decline material that cannot be verified.

Editorial Decisions

VisionForward Magazine reserves the right to accept, edit, hold, or decline submissions and to remove or update published material when editorially appropriate. Publication does not mean the magazine endorses every view expressed by a contributor or person featured.

We are committed to telling meaningful stories with care, purpose, and respect for the people and communities they represent.
